The design of the Dorina Nowill Foundation for the Blind’s annual report starts from a graphic emulation of Braille. Visually, compositions of Braille dots, spelling out real words and phrases, run through the whole publication. By touch, blind embossing on the cover recreates the texture of the writing system. Braille, so closely tied to the lives of blind people, becomes part of the report’s design.
